Chocolate Crinkle Madness



Happy Monday everyone.  I hope you had an amazing Christmas with your loved ones.  Christmas is all about food and sweets so to go along that theme I have a delicious cookie recipe for you.

I am not a huge fan of cookies but these cookies are a mixture of cookie and brownie, thus the perfect combo.  On the outside they are crispy  and in the inside moist and soft.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10-15 minutes

Here is the recipe:
400g caster sugar
85g unsweetened cocoa powder
250g plain flour
4 eggs
125ml vegetable oil
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
50g icing sugar


  1. In a bowl put all the dry ingredients (flour, vanilla, cocoa powder, caster sugar, baking powder and salt) mix them well. Add the vegetable oil and the eggs one at a time. Cover the dough and put it in the fridge for 4 hours. 
  2. Preheat the oven at 180 C and start rolling the dough into small balls. Coat them with icing sugar and place them on a baking tray.
  3. Bake the cookies for 10-15 minutes (depending on your oven)
  4. Once they are done let them cool down on a wire track.
